Coaching & Officiating Development Grant

About this opportunity

Volunteer coaches are the backbone of youth sport, and they are rarely trained. This grant funds certification courses, background checks, first aid and equipment for coaches and referees at community clubs, and covers the cost of the training itself.

Eligibility requirements — read before applying

Coach, referee or club administrator at a youth organisation in the U.S.
Volunteer or low-paid role
Organisation has safeguarding policies in place
At least eight young athletes coached in the past year

1. Register with your club's name.
2. Upload your current safeguarding certification.
3. List the training courses you want funded.
4. Submit.
